Inventory Management

Inventory management application tracking stock in and out, powered by websockets.

Context

Tracking stock coming in and going out requires every user to see the same quantities at the same moment.

My role

Built the application with Nuxt, TypeScript and Pinia, a PostgreSQL database and Docker deployment.

Technical challenges

  • Broadcasting stock movements in real time with WebSockets.
  • Keeping the interface state consistent in Pinia while data changes live.

Outcome

In production for private use.
